ARL OPTIM'X WDXRF

Flexibility, simplicity, reliability, and accuracy are traits of the ARL OPTIM'X: compact, optimized for specific applications, its features are:

• Wider XRF elemental coverage thanks to the instrument's innovative goniometer – the SmartGonio^TM – which can now be configured to cover all elements from fluorine (F) to uranium (U) in sequential mode
• No water cooling or gas supply (depending on configuration) required
• Closely coupled optics for increased intensity (50% higher than conventional geometry)

A new and innovative WDXRF system for optimum analytical performance in specific applications

This unique and compact instrument can be configured with a series of Multichromators^TM for simultaneous analysis and/or with a SmartGonio^TM  for sequential analysis and flexibility.

To ensure a larger degree of flexibility in sequential analysis, the instrument's innovative goniometer – the SmartGonio^TM with 3 crystals – can now be configured to cover all elements from fluorine (F) to uranium (U) in sequential mode. Two fixed monochromator channels for specific elements can be fitted alongside the SmartGonio^TM to reduce analysis time. When speed of analysis is critical, a series of up to eight fixed channels can be selected in a simultaneous configuration.

Typical applications include the analysis of S, Pb and other elements in petrochemical refineries (according to ASTM and ISO norms), analysis of major and minor oxides in raw materials such as limestone, sand, bauxite, ceramics, refractories, slags and sinters, and major and minor elements in food and chemical products.
